Choice Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. Covid-19 in home safety and service practices:

At Choice, customer and employee safety has always been our number one priority. We strive to provide safe and effective service practices not only for our customers, but for our service technicians and office staff.

We also ask in return, that prior to your service appointment if you or anyone within your home have experienced any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 to please let us know.

In light of the recent COVID-19 epidemic, Choice has implemented the following additional daily service call procedures and protocol:

1.) All service technicians will wear a mask for the duration of the service call while inside the home as recommended by the CDC. Exceptions to the mask rule apply only while performing services needed in an enclosed attic or on units outside of the home while maintaining a social distance of 6 feet from the homeowner.
2.) All service technicians perform personal temperature checks upon arrival prior to entering your home. The temperature reading of the technician will show on every invoice.
3.) All service technicians and trucks carry hand sanitizers of at least 60% alcohol as recommended by the CDC.
4.) All service technicians are required to wear protective booties over their shoes any time they enter your home.
5.) We have contactless payment, billing, along with paperless invoicing. When your service tech has completed with the call, you have the option of signing your invoice with your own stylus or the technician can initial your paperwork in your presence. As always, Choice will NEVER proceed with any type of work without your approval.
6.) While Choice is in your home, we will always ask you to change, set, or reprogram your thermostat as an additional way to minimize contact while in your home.
7.) The CDC has recently suggested homes should maintain the proper schedule of replacing and cleaning filters at least every three months to prevent the spread of COVID-19 as well as other communicable diseases. Please let us know if you are needing a filter replacement, UV bulb or any Indoor Air Quality units serviced at the time or service.

Choice is constantly and consistently monitoring new guidelines provided by the CDC and State of Texas as well as individual counties and cities within our service area and will update our protocol accordingly.
